My new book, Seam 2.x Web Development is now available on Amazon as well as direct from Packt Publishing.
If you’d like to know more about the book, then a full table of contents is available on the book page at Packt Publishing, together with a free downloadable chapter of the book.
Hi, nice posts there
thank’s for the interesting information
Hi David,
Good to hear your book is out, will try to order a copy asap, just that
I happen to be in africa so it will take a while to get to me.
Pls I have 3 questions
1, on my mac I have changed the default JDk via ../java/utilities/ java preferences and all that, prior to this update running java -version gave me 1.6.X but after running the java 10.5. update 4 I get 1.5.0_19, pls how to get this done to 1.6.0_13?
2, on netbeans 6.0 I could plug in my seam gen tool and generate new seam applications and deploy via netbeans, but on 6.5 I done seem to have that feature.
3, running seam setup from theterminal gives me
SEAM_home: /usr/local/seam/seam-gen
buildfile : /usr/seam/seam-gen/build.xml does not exist prior to this moment after setting my classpath via /usr/local/seam calling seam setup from command line ran successfully, thus I could generate a new application stub from the terminal .
Thank you so very much
